In a picturesque, quiet environment, there is a wonderful warm spa pool and a cold water swimming pool for those who want treatment, rest and relaxation, with accommodation and dining options, massages, and a sauna.

The Spa

The Hegyközszentmiklós thermal beach was handed over on May 1, 1971. The spa was built by the local producer cooperative members themselves. After the regime change, the committee that liquidated the producer cooperative decided that the beach should become the property of the local Reformed parish. The spa has been operated by the parish since 1991.



Guests have the possibility to rest and relax in triple rooms. We can mediate thus being able to accommodate larger groups as well.


The restaurant is open all year round, except for December 24-25 and the first and second days of Easter.

Thermal water

The thermal water is suitable for the treatment of: chronic, rheumatic arthritis, extra-articular inflammation, post-traumatic injuries and musculoskeletal disorders.


Pool depth: 100 – 160 cm, respectively 70 cm in the children's pool.

Water temperature: 36 – 40 Cº.


A masseuse works in the spa area. The miraculous effect of massage lies in muscle relaxation. 


There is a sauna in the spa area. Has an immune-boosting and skin-regenerating effect, and can be used to improve our body's metabolic processes.

The thermal water of Sânnicolau de Munte is perhaps the hottest in Bihor county, sometimes exceeding 70 Cº. It belongs to the category of oligomineral waters, the mineral salt content does not exceed one gram per liter.

Sânnicolau de Munte

From Sânnicolau de Munte guests can take a series of daytrips. First of all, because of their proximity, one can visit the more than one hundred local cellars where white and red wines can be tasted.


The settlement of Sâniob is nearby, where the relics of King Stephen I. had been kept for over 300 years. Statues of Mercurius, Bocskai and St. Stephen can also be seen here.


Sântimreu is not far from here, being famous for its winemaking, its Reformed Church and the several famous battles which took place on its outskirts.
